New Venue for Lake Country Chorus Show

Lake Oconee News, Friday March 17, 2023

After 22 years of performances, members of the Lake Country Chorus are thrilled to be singing for the first time at Festival Hall, Greensboro’s premier performance venue, offering a fresh, new perspective and atmosphere to their loyal audience and sponsors.

The Lake Country Chorus will present a compilation featuring the music of The Beatles, Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, Fleetwood Mac, La La Land, and West Side Story, among others April 20, in its spring show, Singing Seven Days A Week.

Forty talented and experienced Lake Country vocalists and musicians have been rehearsing since January with the chorus conducted by Donna Valvo and accompanied by Amy Reber. Instrumental Director Tom Shalin also has recruited an experienced, talented orchestra to accompany the choral group.

Tickets for Singing Seven Days A Week are $25 each and available through any chorus member and at the Bank South branch next to Publix. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Melanie Schultz at rometavo@aol.com.
