MEET THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nicole Chillemi joined Festival Hall as its Executive Director in December 2018. A Greensboro native, Nicole is passionate about Festival Hall’s mission and works diligently to preserve the building, plan an exceptional variety of programming, and engage with community leaders.

Prior to Festival Hall, Nicole worked with the city’s Main Street Program and Downtown Development Authority as events coordinator. Nicole has been instrumental in helping bring to life annual festivals such as the Southland Jubilee and continually promotes downtown Greensboro businesses.

Since 2001, Nicole has performed professionally throughout the southeast as a jazz vocalist. She has recorded two albums produced by Grammy-nominated singer songwriter Shawn Mullins, and continues to perform on occasion.

Nicole holds a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia and is a graduate of Nathanael Greene Academy in Siloam, GA.
